Kiren Rijiju alleged that the AAP insulted Tribal Affairs Ministry officials. (Case)

New Delhi:

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju on Sunday alleged that the Aam Aadmi party insulted officials working in the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and said that according to the ruling party in Delhi, no one should work in the ministry.

“According to Arvind Kejriwal’s PAA, no one should work in the Ministry of Tribal Affairs. I call on all officers and staff to continue working for the tribals of our country,” Mr Rijiju wrote on Twitter.

In a tweet, the minister shared a short video in which AAP leader Raghav Chadha allegedly told an interviewer that “babus” (bureaucrats) cannot be removed from office and the government cannot transfer them or assign them to different departments.

“Good people can be rewarded with good positions such as health secretary or home secretary. If a bureaucrat does not do a good job, he would be sent to say, tribal affairs, on a punitive position,” said M Chadha in the video. .

However, the full context of the AAP chief’s remarks was not available.

Switching to Hindi, the justice minister urged ministry officials to ‘ignore the insult done to their services by the Kejriwal team as we salute your contribution’.
