Davis Blank Furniss law firm is increasing the level of corporate and commercial services it provides to Glossop and High Peak clients.
Following an increase in demand from local businesses, the company’s senior team of Sonio Singh, Andrew Ryan, Richard Hamilton and Andy McNish will now be deployed from the Manchester office to Glossop on set days each week.
They will provide advice on a variety of matters, including business sales/purchases, mergers and acquisitions, corporate turnaround and insolvency, shareholder/partnership agreements, contracts, terms and conditions, commercial litigation and commercial property.
Sonio Singh, Partner and Head of Corporate and Commercial, said: “We have been at Glossop since 1877 and are now part of its fabric.
“We are passionate about supporting local businesses as we emerge from the pandemic, so now feels like the right time to strengthen our corporate and business presence in the city and in High Peak at large.”
Sonio added: “The area is full of established businesses, but also has a thriving community of young, ambitious entrepreneurs, which is incredibly exciting.
“Our goal is to support local businesses by offering them a first-class integrated service that covers all areas of business law. This expertise is available right here at Glossop and it’s something we’re proud to offer.
The team will also be able to coordinate additional services, including employment as well as wills and LPAs for business owners.
