Justice Minister Kiren Rijiju’s viral dance video is endorsed by PM Modi: Watch


Union Law and Justice Minister Kiren Rijiju left netizens and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in awe of his dance moves after posting a video of his recent visit to Kazalang village.

Taking to Twitter, the MP for Arunachal Pradesh explained how folk songs and dances are “the essence of every community” in the northeast Indian state.

“During my visit to the beautiful village of Kazalang to monitor the Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya projects. It is the traditional festival of the Sajolang people whenever the guests visit their village. The original folk songs and dances are the ESSENCE of every community of Arunachal Pradesh.”

In the 1.14-minute clip, the politician is seen matching his steps to the beats of folk songs as locals cheer. Once shared online, it didn’t take long for the clip to go viral.

The clip also caught the attention of PM Modi, who retweeted the clip while praising Rijiju’s dancing skills. “Our Minister of Justice @KirenRijiju is also a good dancer! Good to see the vibrant and glorious culture of Arunachal Pradesh,” he tweeted.
