JThe Nigerian Navy Provost and Regulatory School in Benue State has emphasized the need for its officers to engage in best law enforcement practices within or outside the military .

The Commandant of the Nigerian Navy Provost and Regulatory School, Makurdi, Commodore Chindo Usman Yahaya emphasized virtue during the combined two-course graduation ceremony; the Basic Navy Provost Officer Courses and the Capable Regulator Qualification Courses were held in Makurdi on Friday.

Yahaya said the Citadel of Learning is where the Nigerian Navy trains and retrains officers and qualifications on provost and regulatory duties.

He noted that various methodologies were used to train the students, including newly introduced subjects such as cybersecurity, health, safety and environment, among others, adding that the inclusion of the subjects expanded the knowledge of the students. graduates and had prepared them to deal with contemporary and emerging projects. security threats in the maritime environment.

Yahaya also suggested that the school, since moving from Lagos in 2010, had been operating from this temporary site and the space had become too small and inadequate for the school.
