While answering another question, he expressed the hope that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of the Interior will look into the questions concerning the sanctions imposed by the United States on the rapid action battalion and seven current and former senior agency officials.

Responding to another question, he said there might be a disagreement in the views of human rights watchdogs and the government on the human rights situation across the country.

Earlier in the day, the Minister of Justice told the meeting that the NHRC must stand firm and work to establish human rights in the country.
